Advocacy Highland
Advocacy is about speaking up for and with people who are not being heard, helping them express their views.
We aim to provide advocates across the Highlands who will support people of all ages:-
• with mental health problems including dementia
• with learning disabilities
• who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder
• and older people who are frail
Advocacy Highland is an independent voluntary organisation providing free and confidential advocacy support.
Advocacy Highland started in 2003 and became a registered charity in March 2004.
Advocacy Highland covers the Highlands with area co-ordinators in Inverness & Nairn, Ross & Cromarty, Caithness & Sutherland, Skye & Lochalsh, Badenoch & Strathspey and Lochaber
